Summer Mahjong League

Our Summer Mahjong League—sponsored by Bam Bird Boutique—kicks off Tuesday, June 2!

Magpie Mahjong’s Summer Mahjong League is a four-week American mahjong league intended for beginner-friendly competition, social play, and community. Each week, play on luxe Bam Bird Boutique tiles and mats in a beautiful space. You’ll be assigned to a new table weekly to experience new tiles and new friendly competition. Compete for fabulous mahjong prizes for the top three finishers.

  • Dates: June 2, June 9, June 16 & June 23

  • Play time: 7 to 9 p.m. - Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

  • National Mah Jongg League rules (no blanks) using the 2026 NMJL card

  • 2 hours of play each week

  • Beginner-friendly simplified scoring

  • Compete for high-end mahjong prizes, including a mahjong tile set!
